Enthusiasts of all ages can try to find their inner Max Verstappen. Experience on the kart track is not for nothing an activity that was at the cradle of the success of many Formula 1 drivers. There are tracks in Playa Flamenca, Quesada, San Javier and San Fulgencio, among others. Here is a short tour along the fast tracks. Go Karts Orihuela Costa has two tracks, which make racing possible for both adults and children from 5 to 10 years old. The kart centre at Playa Flamenca has opted for a rich variety of possibilities. For example, quad bikes and karts with a co-pilot can also enjoy themselves on the track. In addition, you can choose from karts with 125cc, 270cc and 400cc. With long straights and difficult hairpin bends, the track is a challenge for both beginners and advanced drivers. The complex has a restaurant and a play area with many attractions for the youngest visitors.
Outside the season, quad trips lasting more than two hours are organised in natural areas. The minimum age for this is 18 years.
Go Karts Ciudad Quesada is regularly praised on Tripadvisor for the beautiful course that places quite high demands on the driving skills of the pilots. There are two tracks. One for adults and older teenagers. There is also a mini track for the youngest karters. As on many other tracks, you can also race here in a so-called double kart. One of the special events is the regularly recurring race in which the endurance of the drivers is put to the test. The Quesada circuit has a restaurant.
San Fulgencio is the location for the decades-old Racing Center Gilesias Karting. Close to the N332 and La Marina is a track of approximately 500 metres. Enthusiasts from a very young age can enjoy themselves or improve their skills on a track with tight routes and long stretches. The 65 karts have different top speeds and there are also karts for pilots and co-pilots. In addition to the regular races, there are various special events. For example, there are opportunities to participate in endurance races. The Grand Prix are held regularly, where training sessions, qualifying rounds and the final race must decide who will win the main prize. The staff also give one and a half hour lessons for beginners once a month and offer training time outside normal opening hours by appointment.
The largest track in the Murcia region is on the road from Santiago de la Ribeira to Los Narejos. The 1100 meter long track can be used by both children and adults. As on all other tracks, there is a choice of karts with a variety of lower and higher cc's. Once a month there are races, preceded by qualifying rounds, for what are called the VIP pilots. Due to the many holidaymakers, this does not happen in July and August. Go Karting Mar Menor is also open for race time for special groups, such as on the occasion of birthdays, for companies and bachelor parties. The complex has a restaurant.
