Campoamor - In the region of Dehesa de Campoamor and Torrevieja, 2014 saw an increasing demand for Spanish holiday homes. The Spanish statistics agency announced that the area on the Costa Blanca South has revealed a huge increase in sales of Spanish holiday homes. In particular in the Dehesa de Campoamor and Torrevieja regions, an increase of approximately 40% compared to 2013 has even taken place. Buying a house in Spain and in particular in the Costa Blanca and Orihuela Costa is currently on the rise.
In total, 778 Spanish homes were sold in Torrevieja in 2014, compared to 558 in 2013. This is an increase of 39.42%. Torrevieja and Dehesa de Campoamor have experienced favorable developments in the construction sector and general economic activities.
Although the above data refer to Dehesa de Campoamor and Torrevieja, the increase is comparable across Orihuela Costa. Spanish activity has been growing in this area in the past year. Certainly also in the tourism sector where there is also an increase in the rental of Spanish holiday homes. In addition, many more building permits were also issued by the Spanish authorities. As a result, more beautiful new construction projects of Spanish holiday homes in the Costa Blanca South can also be realized.
