La Zenia is a small but well-visited seaside resort, located on the Costa Blanca South, about a 40-minute drive from Alicante airport. Murcia San Javier Airport is only a 20-minute drive away. La Zenia is located between the resorts of Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca. The seaside town of Torrevieja with all its amenities is a ten minute drive away.
La Zenia has many restaurants, bars, supermarkets and the large and busy shopping center Zenia Boulevard. Because of these good facilities, many residents who live here permanently live in La Zenia.
In La Zenia Boulevard you can safely spend a full day shopping. This shopping center of more than 160,000 m2 has 150 shops and restaurants and has 5,000 free parking spaces. The gigantic Al Campo supermarket is also located in the complex. It is therefore the largest shopping center in the province of Alicante.
La Zenia is an important base for golfers. The nearest golf club is that of Campoamor. The two other clubs, Las Ramblas de Orihuela golf club and Villamartin golf club, are a twenty minute drive away.
However, the main attraction of La Zenia is the beach. Cala Bosque and Cala Cerrada are the most popular beaches. But the nearby beaches of Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca are also worth a visit. La Zenia is clearly a great location for a beach holiday. Everything you need for a blissful family holiday under the Spanish sun is within reach.
