Los Montesinos is a municipality in the Spanish province of Alicante in the Valencia region. Los Montesinos is a traditional Spanish town located fifteen minutes drive from the town of Torrevieja on the Spanish sunny coast with its beautiful blue flag beaches and golf courses. Los Montesinos is close to the highway, which means you have quick and easy access to the surrounding towns of Elche, Alicante and Murcia. Los Montesinos is located right next to the salt lakes of Torrevieja and this ensures a really healthy climate.
The nearby nature reserves and their lakes are ideal for bird watching, hiking, cycling and horse riding. There is a beautiful square in Los Montesinos with several bars and restaurants. Torremendo is a mountain lake nearby, where you can swim and fish.

The nearest golf course to Los Montesinos is "La Finca Golf" and is only five minutes away by car. This golf course is considered one of the best in the Costa Blanca South. There is also a golf course at Campoamor and Villamartin.

Within a reasonable distance from Los Montesinos is a water park called Aquapolis.
Not far from Los Montesinos is the large beach town and resort of Torrevieja. Torrevieja is also known for its beautiful boulevard, restaurants and the Habaneras shopping center.
There are a number of historic towns within an hour's drive of Los Montesinos - Murcia, Cartagena, Orihuela, Elche and Alicante.
